BillGo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

The short version. Your quotes, invoices, customers and prices are stored on your device and are never uploaded to us. BillGo has no accounts and no sign-up. We receive anonymous crash and usage statistics, and your subscription status if you buy one. That's all.

This policy explains what BillGo (“the app”, “we”, “us”) does with information when you use it. It applies to the BillGo apps for Android and iOS.

1. Information you enter

Everything you type into BillGo — your business details, logo, bank details, signature, customers, price list, quotes and invoices — is written to a database stored privately on your device.

We cannot see it. It is not uploaded to our servers, backed up to our systems, or shared with anyone. There is no account to sign in to, because there is nothing on our side to sign in to.

A document leaves your device only when you choose to send it: tapping Share hands the generated PDF to whichever app you pick, such as your email or messaging app. What happens next is governed by that app's own privacy policy.

2. Information collected automatically

BillGo uses a small number of third-party services that receive limited technical information. None of them receive your business records.

Service What it receives Why
Google Firebase Analytics Anonymous usage events, such as which screens are opened, plus device model, operating system version, and country. To understand which parts of the app get used, so we know what to improve.
Google Firebase Crashlytics Crash reports: the error, a stack trace, device model and operating system version. To find and fix crashes.
Google Firebase Performance Monitoring Timing data, such as how long the app takes to start. To keep the app responsive.
RevenueCat A randomly generated app user ID and your purchase and subscription status. To know whether you have paid for the premium version, and to restore purchases on a new device.
Google Play / Apple App Store Your purchase, handled entirely by the store. To take payment. We never see your card details.

These identifiers are tied to an installation, not to you personally. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number, and we have no way to connect app usage to a real person.

3. What we do not do

4. Photos and files

When you add a business logo, your device's photo picker asks you to choose one image. Only that image is passed to BillGo, which copies it into the app's private storage. BillGo cannot browse your photo library.

PDFs are generated on your device when you preview or share a document, and are stored in the app's temporary cache.

5. How long information is kept

Your business records stay on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall BillGo. Uninstalling removes the database and everything in it.

Analytics and crash data are retained by Google under Firebase's data retention terms. Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat and the app stores for as long as needed to support your purchase and meet their legal obligations.

6. Deleting your information

Because your records are held only on your device, you delete them yourself: remove individual documents and customers inside the app, or uninstall BillGo to remove everything at once.

Please note there is currently no cloud backup. If you uninstall the app, reset your device or lose your phone, your quotes and invoices are gone and we cannot recover them for you.

To ask about analytics or purchase data held by our providers, email us at the address below and we will help.

7. Where information is processed

The information described in section 2 is processed by Google and RevenueCat on servers that may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Those providers operate under their own safeguards for international transfers.

8. Children

BillGo is a tool for running a trade business and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal information held about you, and to object to certain processing. Since your business records never reach us, most of these you can exercise directly on your device. For anything held by our providers, contact us and we will act on your request.

10. Links to other services

The app and this site may link to services we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we suggest reading their policies before sharing anything with them.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
